On December 16, Sedigh Minaee, a Kurdish journalist with Aso Weekly, was tried in Sanandaj on charges of “refusal to stand up during the playing of the national anthem,” “propagation against the regime,” and “insulting authorities,” according to Mookrian News Agency.
