CNN.com is reporting that Roxana Saberi met with a lawyer in Tehran on Sunday. Her father said she was tearful at first, but that "her spirits changed when she heard about the outpouring of support. She had no idea how much attention her arrest is getting."

CPJ delivered a petition to the Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York on Monday. With more than 10,000 signatures, the petition requested the direct intervention of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to ensure that Saberi receives due process and is released as quickly as possible.
