Navidi Vakhsh

Fakhriddinov, a reporter for pro-Islamic, Tajik-language thrice-weekly Navidi Vakhsh, was murdered by The People's Front, according to local journalists. Navidi Vakhsh was published in Khatlon Province, 100 miles south of the capital, Dushanbe. Fakhriddinov was of Garmi descent.Motive Unconfirmed: CPJ is investigating to determine whether the death was work-related.
