September 10, 1994, in Pale, BosniaDjogo, editor-in-chief of Bosnian-Serb Television in Pale, was last seen on September 10 at a hotel near the border between Muslim-held Bosnia and Serbian-controlled Bosnia. His body was later found in a lake. It is likely that he was murdered. Djogo was a staunch nationalist who regularly ridiculed the Bosnian Muslims on his television news show. Just before his death, he had started to voice opposition to Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic for cutting ties with the Bosnian-Serb government.
Motive Unconfirmed: CPJ is investigating to determine whether the death was work-related.
