Arif, a cameraman, was killed in a suicide bombing at a
local hospital, news reports said. The blast occurred outside the emergency
ward of Civil Hospital in Quetta, capital of restive Baluchistan province,
killing at least eight people and injuring numerous others, including five
journalists. The journalists were covering a Shia demonstration outside the
hospital, where a prominent local Shia bank manager had been taken after an
attack.
